1. Scope
This Privacy Notice explains how Kansas City AIO handles information associated with kansascityaio.com (the “Site”) and communications initiated through it. The Site is an informational website for a software development and consulting company. It is not a customer analytics tool, hosted measurement service, or account platform.
2. Information you choose to provide
The Site’s contact form collects the information you enter, which may include your name, work email, organization, website URL, market or service area, customer questions, current concern, timing, and consent to a response. When you submit the form, the Site sends that information to a Kansas City AIO web server, which relays it as an email to Kansas City AIO through Resend, a transactional email provider. The Site does not store form submissions in a database.
Kansas City AIO uses the contents of your inquiry to respond, evaluate a potential engagement, maintain business records, protect the parties’ rights, and comply with law. Please do not include sensitive or regulated information that is not necessary for your inquiry.
3. Technical information
Web hosting and network providers may process ordinary request information needed to deliver and secure the Site, such as IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser or device information, referrer, and security events. Kansas City AIO may receive limited logs or aggregated operational information from those providers.
The Site loads the Mulish font from Google Fonts, and every page loads measurement scripts from outcomesbypage.com and googletagmanager.com. When your browser requests those resources, the provider receives the same kind of technical request information under its own privacy terms, whether or not you have made a consent choice.
4. Analytics and measurement
Kansas City AIO measures how this Site is used. Every page loads two measurement tools: Outcomes by Page (outcomesbypage.com) and Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC, property G-EWFG9FSCY7). They are used to understand which pages visitors reach, where visitors come from, how they move through the Site, and whether each page accomplishes what it is meant to accomplish. Kansas City AIO does not use these tools to serve advertising.
Both tools run under Google Consent Mode. When a page loads, every optional storage category is set to “denied,” and a consent prompt asks you to choose. The prompt offers two categories: Necessary, which is always on, and Analytics, which is off until you allow it. You can choose “Allow analytics” or “Decline,” or open “Cookie settings” to review each category. Your choice is saved in a first-party cookie named “cc_cookie” for up to 182 days and is applied on later visits until you change it or clear site data.
“Decline” prevents both tools from setting analytics cookies or storing persistent identifiers in your browser. It does not stop measurement entirely. Outcomes by Page may continue limited first-party, cookieless measurement of aggregate use, and Google Analytics, operating in advanced consent mode, may still receive cookieless pings that carry your consent state and basic request information. Blocking scripts from outcomesbypage.com and googletagmanager.com in your browser prevents those requests altogether.
When you allow analytics, these tools may set cookies and use browser storage to recognize your browser across pages and visits, and may collect page URLs and titles, referrers, approximate location derived from IP address, device, browser, screen, and language characteristics, timing, and interaction events such as scrolling, outbound link clicks, file downloads, and form interactions. Google may also use data it receives to maintain and improve its own services, as described in how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Kansas City AIO does not run advertising, remarketing, or personalization on the Site, and the prompt offers no such categories; if any were added, this Notice would be updated first.
Declining optional analytics will not prevent access to the Site’s public content. Strictly necessary technologies may still be used when required to deliver, secure, remember a privacy choice for, or operate the Site.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site’s own pages set one cookie: “cc_cookie,” which records your consent choice so the Site can remember it. That cookie is strictly necessary and is kept for up to 182 days or until you change your choice or clear site data.
With analytics consent, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (“_ga” and “_ga_” followed by the property identifier) that persist for up to two years to distinguish browsers and sessions, and Outcomes by Page may set first-party cookies or use browser storage for the same purpose. Without analytics consent, neither tool sets cookies, although cookieless measurement may continue as described in Section 4. If you withdraw analytics consent, the Site removes Google Analytics cookies it can reach from your browser.
You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” control in the Site footer. You can also delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings; doing so clears your saved choice, and the prompt will appear again on your next visit.
6. How information is used
Kansas City AIO may use information to operate and secure the Site, respond to inquiries, prepare and manage potential engagements, communicate about requested services, diagnose technical issues, maintain records, prevent abuse, enforce terms, and comply with legal obligations. Kansas City AIO does not sell personal information received through the Site.
7. Disclosure and service providers
Information may be processed by providers that support hosting, email delivery (including Resend for contact-form relay), security, analytics and site measurement (Outcomes by Page and Google), professional services, and other Site operations, subject to their roles and contractual obligations. Kansas City AIO may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, in connection with a business transaction, or with your direction or consent.
8. Retention and security
Kansas City AIO retains inquiry and business information only as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and recordkeeping. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no website, email system, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also withdraw consent for future processing based on consent, including by changing your measurement choice through the “Cookie settings” control in the Site footer. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions and identity verification.
To make a privacy request, email [email protected]. Kansas City AIO will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
10. Children
The Site is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to children. Kansas City AIO does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Site.
11. External links
The Site links to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this one.
12. Changes and contact
Kansas City AIO may update this Notice as the Site, analytics practices, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions and requests may be sent to [email protected].
